Step 1 - Apply for U.S./Canada FAST
You must first apply for the FAST program through the DHS Trusted Traveler Programs website. You will be asked to pay a $50 fee for a 5 year membership. You will also have to fill out questions regarding your background.
Note: FAST (Free and Secure Trade) is designed for commercial truck drivers who frequently cross the U.S.-Canada border. It provides expedited customs and immigration clearance for commercial carriers.
Start Your FAST ApplicationStep 2 - Wait for conditional approval
After your application has been submitted, you will have to wait for conditional approval. Conditional approval means that you have been pre approved for the FAST program, but you need to schedule an interview to finalize your application.
The conditional approval process can take anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months, depending on the volume of applications, your background, etc.
Step 3 - Schedule Your FAST interview
Congratulations! You've been conditionally approved for U.S./Canada FAST. The next step is to schedule your interview at Warroad Enrollment Center (RRT).

- Click on the "Chose This Location" button to see the available timeslots at Warroad Enrollment Center (RRT)
Step 4 - Skip the FAST Interview wait time
You might notice that Warroad Enrollment Center (RRT) is showing "No appointments available for this location", or the next appointment available is months out.
So what can you do?
FAST interview appointments are constantly cancelled, rescheduled, and added. This means that if you can monitor the interview slots, you can find an appointment that fits your schedule.

Directions: From Warroad, MN, turn north at the intersection of MN Hwy 11 and MN Hwy 313. Drive 5 miles to the Warroad Port of Entry.
Notes: **** Warroad Enrollment Center does NOT conduct remote interviews**** Park in visitor parking on the East side of main building. Bring your "Conditionally Approved" letter, forms of identification (passport, birth certificate, driver's license, etc). The Warroad EC is open Monday -Wednesday 8 am-4pm. Call the Warroad Port at 218-386-2796 for questions. The Warroad Enrollment Center is located at the Port of Entry, 5 miles north on highway 313.
